[Shanghai Zinc: Futures Market Fluctuated at High Levels, Transactions Showed No Improvement] Today, the mainstream transaction prices of 0# zinc were concentrated at 23,800-24,000 yuan/mt, with Shuangyan traded at 23,900-24,080 yuan/mt, and the mainstream transaction prices of 1# zinc at 23,730-23,930 yuan/mt. In the early session, the market quoted a premium of 0-20 yuan/mt against the average price, with fewer quotes against the futures market...

SMM February 18 News: Today, mainstream transaction prices for 0# zinc were concentrated at 23,800~24,000 yuan/mt, with Shuangyan transacted at 23,900~24,080 yuan/mt, and mainstream transaction prices for 1# zinc at 23,730~23,930 yuan/mt. In the early trading session, market quotations were at premiums of 0-20 yuan/mt against the average price, with fewer quotations against the futures market. During the second trading session, ordinary domestic brands were quoted at premiums of 0-20 yuan/mt against the 2503 contract, high-end brand Shuangyan was quoted at a premium of 100 yuan/mt against the 2503 contract, Huize at a premium of 50 yuan/mt against the 2503 contract, and Baiyin at parity against the 2503 contract. Warehouse warrants have not yet been released. Today, market traders' quotations remained basically stable. Although most downstream enterprises have resumed work after the holiday, overall spot consumption remained weak. The futures market fluctuated at high levels in the morning, and today's transactions also showed average performance.

Overall, China’s die-casting zinc alloy trade from January to February showed a pattern of slightly higher exports and a significant pullback in imports.
